Senior Exemption

Seniors will be considered eligible for exemption from the Final Exam in June if they:

• Have an average of 85 or higher and
• have NO unexcused absences (not one!), no more than 10 excused absences, and no more than 10 "tardies". Remember that it is your responsibility to clear up absences/tardies within ONE cycle. Notes from parents in June that attempt to excuse "dentist appointments" from months prior will not be accepted for the purposes of being exempt from the Spanish final exam. 
  
  School-related events will not count toward the 10 absence total. Seniors will be informed of their exemption status on the last day of class in June.  Until that point they are expected to participate actively and fully in all class activities.
