REGENTS RECORDINGS

1. Access the NYS Spanish Regents page and print out a copy of the exam that corresponds to the practice below.

(January 2010, June 2009, and January 2009)

2. Part II is the LISTENING section (remember, you’ve already done Part I, which was the SPEAKING SECTION).

3. On the day of the exam, each paragraph will be read TWO TIMES.

However, I have only recorded it ONCE, so just listen to it again and it will be just like the day of the exam.

You are free to listen to it more than twice, but the day of the exam you can only hear it TWO TIMES.

4. Remember, you will a generous pause BETWEEN questions, so pretend it’s the actual exam and READ AHEAD
to see what the question is and what some possible answers MIGHT be.
Then play the item and listen carefully.

5. You can check your answers through the NYS web site (“Scoring Key” for the corresponding exam).
